A Night Of Headbanging
Fast genau ein Jahr ist es nun her, dass die Wahlberliner Psych- und Stoner-Rocker von Elder sich mit “Innate Passage” erstmals auf Progressive-Rock-Territorium vorwagten und bei uns prompt den Teapot Of the Week abräumten. Anlass genug, sich die Band auch einmal live zu Gemüte zu führen. Kurzerhand ging es also ins ausverkaufte Frankfurter Nachtleben, wo neben Elder auch die Londoner Band Steak mit fuzzy-groovy Sounds auf uns wartete.

The Nachtleben welcomed two amazing bands of metal: the British band Steak and Massachusetts-based Elder, currently established in Berlin. Anticipation was palpable in the air, with sold-out tickets foreshadowing an unforgettable evening. And so it was.
Steak
Steak, with their characteristic blend of stoner metal and hard rock, had the responsibility of igniting the sonic combustion.
The crowd, immersed in the experience, passionately sang along to each song, succumbing to the contagious rhythm emanating from the stage. Headbanging became inevitable, and heads moved in unison, guided by the mastery of Steak.
Elder
After the roar of guitars and vibrant chords from Steak, Elder took the reins to lead the audience on a unique sonic journey. With their blend of stoner metal, doom metal, and psychedelia, Elder created an immersive atmosphere that captivated the audience. The space, already overflowing, was no obstacle for attendees to surrender to the frenzy of headbanging, enthralled by Elder’s powerful symphony.
The fusion of Steak’s stoner metal and hard rock with Elder’s sonic richness turned the night into an epic episode. Music emerged as the protagonist, unleashing a collective euphoria that will resonate in the memories of those privileged to attend. An unforgettable night of headbanging and formidable sonic vibrations that will be etched in the history of Nachtleben and in the hearts of live metal enthusiasts.
